My first blog post...EVER!

I took the plunge, hoping to have a little fun.

This is going to my first ever blog post...holy shit. I've been wanting to do this for years. And now I've finally grown some balls and am putting my content out there.

Rhymes & Poetry

I needed to express myself, and put my writing out there.

I've never let myself showcase anything I've ever written.

Make an impact through rhymes and beats.

The above is an excerpt line from one of my songs. I write a lot about love, politics, and the universe. What is our purpose in life? For some reason, I feel I express myself best through rhymes & poetry. In a perfect world, maybe some of my writings will have a positive impact on others. I don't expect anything from anyone, but not trying, and not putting myself out there will never get me anywhere either.

I wanted to bring a different approach to my "brand." I don't expect anything from anyone, but I gotta put my art out there. I did research on poetry websites, I did research on Instagram users who post about rhymes, poetry, etc. I honestly couldn't find anyone who had my particular idea. So why not? It's a unique situation, what I'm saying is unique to me and me alone. If I can make a positive impact on others through my blog posts, then I will consider this a success. Regardless, I know I needed to do this for me, and I hope, at the very least, that concept, that message, can help others who may be a hesitant artist.

So, what's the format?

Well, this is all new to me. I don't know what I'm doing! What I do know is that I want to write. This is how I express myself best. I'll have blog posts on everything I've written over the years. My Instagram account will have posts on Mondays and Fridays. I'm still trying to figure out the format, but I'm thinking it'll be:

Monday - Poems

Friday - Rhymes

I'll also include some short stories, random thoughts, and really just any kind of blog post (whatever comes to me). But I'll definitely have a pattern with my social media posts, and that'll be all rhymes and poetry.

I genuinely hope you enjoy my content. If my words connect with you, if I can make you laugh, or smile, then that makes all of this worth it.
